Equestria Girls and the Few (FEW) Disgraceful Reactions AMONG the MLP:FIM Fandom · 12:14am Jun 3rd, 2013
I have no reason to believe lots of people are going to read this given I am not a big name on this website, but I want to get this out.
So apparently it is rumored that some (not many) among the MLP:FIM fandom have made death threats to the creators of Equestria Girls. I want to make something clear. That is (insert explicit here)ing unacceptable. It is one thing to object and banter about it, its another thing to be criminal and inhumane about it. One thing I never like about fandoms is the actions of the mentally and emotionally unstable among them/us that give the rest of us a bad name. I don't hate them in particular. They are sick, after all. But I hate their actions and the harm it does, both to the victims and to the fans. These individuals need to seek professional help, big time. Not to mention the creators of EqG should know very well that the actions of these few DO NOT reflect the true demeanor of the brony community.
If you read this post agree with all these points, feel free to share your opinions on this matter. If you know anyone who sent a threat to the EqG creators, kindly advise them of their mistake and encourage them to get psychiatric help quick. There is something wrong with a person who thinks its okay to threaten someone's life over a T.V. show.

What you're serious, that really happened? I'd say I wasn't surprised, because I usually see this kind of thing coming, but even I, who has a very low opinion of humans in general did not expect that reaction over a non canon movie.

I have adjusted the article to make it known that it is apparently a rumor. Regardless I am speaking out against the behavior as it IS present in other fan communities.

Unfortunately some people just cant handle change. If these people really did send such threats its because they probably think that its going to change then entire show, just because of a movie. Lets just hope that it really was just a rumor and not something that happened.
