So Tuesday I went in to work, the day after giving my two week notice, and was told to sign an injury report and get out or the Business Manager would call the cops and have me arrested.
I could have punched him.
I SHOULD have punched him.
But I held back. And I aught to take pride in that. When I got home I wrote this up:

Well it's been almost a week since Fallout 4 was released and the wife and I are still roving around Concord trying to build up our settlements and improve our perks (because what's the point of rescuing our kid if there's nowhere safe for him to live?).

So where the hell have ya been?

I'll be honest here, I have a number of problems, one of them is my embarrassment at failing. This can include such things as not sweeping the floor daily to feeling like I've overslept. It's ridiculous ('Lesson Zero' levels of anxiety here) but, yes, the reason I went so long without updating was because I was so mortified by the fact that I had gone so long without updating.

So my wife and I have been helping my mother-in-law take care of her father for several years now. Last Friday he went into the hospital and had a rapid decline in health. He's stablized for now, but that means that I've been swamped cleaning house, helping settle in-laws into spare areas (couch, floor, bathtub, wherever they're comfortable), and offering emotional support.

Translation: Not as much work on Chpater 2 of OUTWaste than I would have wanted.

But family comes first (yes, even in-laws) and it's not like I don't already have the rough draft finished.
