I was just working on Crying in Perfect Harmony--
Cherry had always thought distantly of meeting Dash again. Perhaps finally claiming the forgiveness the note had promised her all those years ago. It had been a fantasy, nothing more, but she had often thought mournfully of what she would feel. Would it be pain? Loss? Anger? Maybe even joy? What she felt was— what she felt was… nothing. It was Rainbow Dash; the filly she had been sweet on in high school, the filly who had almost completely destroyed her life and the filly who was now standing in front of her with abject shock on her face. She looked… cute?
--and I realised that I never gave my OC Cherry Sprinkle a cutie mark. Sitting here, now, I feel like a complete failure of the fanfiction world. HOW IN THE WIDE, WIDE WORLD OF EQUESTRIA DID I FORGET TO GIVE AN OC A CUTIE MARK!? Unless I did and then forgot about it. Oh please tell me I didn't do that. That would make me an even worse failure.
Assuming that I'm not actually as forgetful as Dory, I now need to come up with a cutie mark for her. If you have a suggestion for her cutie mark, leave a comment. Who knows, maybe when I eventually get around to fixing the grammar in IMBTFOLPO I might just add a passage describing her cutie mark.
Anyway, the request for suggestions on where I might ask for challenges is still out there... begging... sad and alone.
