Story Ideas: Spike and the Quest to End Eternity

So I've got 2 more ideas floating around in my head. This one is a Spike story. It takes place far off in the future after Celestia's sun has fallen to the passing of time. Spike is the only one who remains unscathed from the passing of time. In a world that lacks warmth there is only one thing that keeps Spike going on. Three small words from a face he no longer remembers.

Should I go back and Give Anon a real name?

I was wondering if I should go back an give Anon a name, since it seems like a big deal to some people. I wouldn't want the reason for someone reading my story to stop because they hated the use of the name "Anon" and seeing as I have no real attachment to the name I thought I'd see what some people think, if anyone cares to respond at all @_@

    Pony Height/Weight Relative to Anon

Alright, let's bring this topic up, because I honestly didn't realize it was that debated of a topic, I've gotten answers ranging from 2ft to 5ft tall. But there is one answer that I have chosen to accept, albeit modified, before I go into that, lets go into how big horses are in our world.

Pony Height/Weight Relative to Anon · 12:28am May 22nd, 2013

Alright, let's bring this topic up, because I honestly didn't realize it was that debated of a topic, I've gotten answers ranging from 2ft to 5ft tall. But there is one answer that I have chosen to accept, albeit modified, before I go into that, lets go into how big horses are in our world.

NOTE Horses are measured from their hooves to their shoulders, neck and head are not counted since their size can vary dependent on the relative location of their heads.

Light Riding Horse
Height - 142 to 163 cm aka 4'7ft to 5'4ft
Weight - 380 to 550 kg aka 840 to 1,200 lb

Larger Riding Horse
Height - 157 to 173 cm aka 5'1 to 6'8ft
Weight - 500 to 600kb aka 1,100 to 1,300 lb

Draft Horses
Height - 163 to 183 cm aka 5'4 to 6ft
Weight - 700 to 1,000 kg aka 1,500 to 2,200 lb

Alright, now that we've got that out of the way let's do some math, well more like look at people who have done math for us. In a certain episode of MLP a candy cane that two fillies were licking was said to be 8ft. From that alone people have calculated the math doing ratio's of pixels to inches. Here are two slightly different charts that are still around the same ballpark.

-edit- Can't remember what pics were here originally but the links died... new pics

Pictures really speak for themselves, they get it just right, now anyway on to my main point while the heights in all of these are correct everyone seems to want to put Celestia at the actual weight of a horse which is anywhere between 800-1200lbs which brings regular ponies to about 400-600 lbs and fillies to 200-300lbs. (Rough uncared for eyeball estimates. btw) I'd like to disagree there, Celestia may be tall but she is definitely not stocky and built like a horse. Hell she's really slim actually, built more like my Great Dane who weighs in at 150lbs at a height of a normal pony from the pics above. So if we use that logic then that brings Celestia to a max weight of like 200lbs imo, or around there.

Anyway since I'm not really good at this math thing I'm throwing it all to the wind and just declaring my ponies the height of the first candy cane pic and the weight varying from 90lbs to 150lbs. Pegasai will weigh in anywhere from 90-110 lbs imo. They've got tiny wings and either light or hollow bones to be able to fly. Unicorns are slightly heavier at 115-130lbs and finally Earth ponies are the heaviest and strongest. I'm working with muscle weighs more than fat here. So Finally We'll have Luna weigh in around 150-180 and Celestia 180-200. Kinda sounds fair eh? Anyway if anyone actually reads this let me know what you think.
....
.......
And yes I did want them to be lighter so they don't completely dominate Anon in strength, that and I want Anon to be able to pick up Luna if he wanted to. >_>;
Anon is 5'10-5'11 weighing in at a good 165 of lean muscle. Man liked to work out, but you all already knew that.

Also, here is a site that has all of their heights down to the pixel, science is magic!
