Now that I ripped off the burdens of completing my exams, I can now give focus to my story. As an apology for not providing a new chapter, have this:

"Who knows where I'll come from!" the magnetic pony yelled as he tossed a pair of red phosphorus grenades.
Raiden stood his ground, wary of what will come out of the thick fog. The cyborg unicorn tightened his magical grip on his HF blade, anticipating Monsoon. A flash of purple caught his eye, Monsoon came at Raiden with his sais. The cyborg unicorn parried the magnetic pony's attack before it could do any damage. Undettered, Monsoon jumped back into the fog to attack again. Once again, the Desperado captain attacked Raiden with his sais, but again, his attack was parried. This same pattern continued until the fog faded away and Raiden's visibility returned.
Monsoon growled, he galloped towards the cyborg ninja, his sais suspended above his head via his electromagnetic currents. Raiden's eye glowed red, his blade floated beside him. Monsoon unleashed a flurry of swipes and bucks that Raiden narrowly blocked. Growing irritated, Monsoon slid to Raiden's side and swiftly bucked him into the air with his powerful legs; the ninja pony was caught off-guard.
The electromagnetic, cyborg equine leaped into the air after his prey, meeting him mid-air. Before Raiden could act, Monsoon savagely kicked him back to the ground, and landed violently on top of the dazed cyborg. Pinning Raiden's front legs, Monsoon levitated his sais above him and brought them down into Raiden's exposed chest; the sais repeatedly hit their target as blood sprayed across the ground, mixing with the rainwater.
"Did that hurt?" Monsoon mocked. He leaped away from Raiden, twirling his weapons above him. Raiden's chest ached from the recent attack, throbbing with pain as he picked himself up. However, the pain felt good to him. Very good, in fact. The ninja pony levitated his blade to his side, his eye flashed red again.
"I'll rip you apart..." Raiden grinned. The pony galloped towards the waiting Monsoon, rainwater splashed below him. Monsoon galloped towards Raiden too, quickly meeting him half-way. Both combatants readied their weapons and attacked.
The droplets fell gently on the terrain, and the storm continued above.
