I'm particularly proud of this piece. I entered it in the group World Building Alliance. Thinking of entering another entry.
So why am I bringing this up? Two reasons.
May is my birthday.
Humans Assemble will be one year old in June, though the anniversary of it being in the site is in July.
The last reason:
Humans Assemble is a "video game" theme of sorts. As such- I'm letting you readers- Decide which ending Humans Assemble you get. Is it ending soon? Not just yet. It's why I'm giving you this chance now.
The type of comments you crazy and beloved Readers leave for the stories will be what determines which Epilogues I write. Ala video game fashion, comments will earn the:
Bad Ending (The comments till this point have already eliminated this ending, so no worries.)
Normal Ending
Good Ending.
Feel Good Ending
Mistershield special.
Which type of comment unlocks which ending? I'm not telling.
Thank you all for bearing with me. It's been a long and crazy ride.
Is there something we can do to earn that bad ending? Even if it is not canon to the story?

Well, everybody is expecting a 'feel good ending', as how they want everyone to have a happy ending of sorts, but I say let's play around with that expectations. Perhaps for some that yes, they do have a happy ending, for others they have a good/normal ending, and then a select few that have a bad/rotten ending. Would help give appreciation to other character endings, and perhaps realistic in some form, as not every human/pony are fortunate enough to have fate shine for them.
But that's my way of thinking. Overall, I say let's have the story a good ending, but for each character would have a different ending individually. a few having great, most having normal, and a select few bad *sometimes the good guys have them too, right?). and to top it all off.
Have a bonus chapter/segment with this "Mistershield special." for shit and giggles (pardon my language), such as having a a musical play that's dedicated to the human heroes, which recaps the entire book in a silly manner. Like this video from one of my favorite childhood shows: Reboot! Enjoy the clip, and keep in mind that this is from 1998.

"Good" video game endings can be as lame. A good ending be, no one died.
Let's see... a good comparisson can be "Tales" series or the "Disgea". They have the standard endings that are good- You saved the world! But the better good ending is obtained if you meet certain conditions.
Can you explain the "Mistershield special" to me?
Also I would vote feel good ending where most of the humans get to stay.
Or they get to have the power to switch whenever they want.
Which is the most preferable.
It gives writers, like moi, a AMAZING WORLD to write stories in.

You do not have anybody from Pokemon as a major character.

1091726 I know they are endings, but you said this has a game-based story line. And the multiple endings are the rewards for completing the game in a certain way, thous earning you an achievement in the process. At least that's how I see it.
And now I feel like I need to go back in the story and see anything that you may have put for us to tryand find. Like some kind of easter eeg, some name of something or even references.
I can see the next achievement reward for us to get. 'Nostalgia Feel,: Find 15 referenceses through the whole story or 'New Tricks': Influence the author to give someone a new power of your choice and maybe for laughs? 'Inapropiate Comment': Get 100 readers to post a sex joke on the story. I'm sure it would be fun to do.
