    Fading In

    I have some unfinished business.

I've left too many things in my life half-done.

    Not this time.

My wings are stiff and awkward. Hooves feel numb, and my legs wobble as I stand. The path ahead is uncertain.

I know some of you may have been worried when my update schedule went from a chapter every 3 days (avg), to... dead air for almost a month. I want to first off say that everything is okay, and secondly let you all know I will be starting up a regular(ish)update schedule again, although perhaps a tad slower than before. Why did this happen, you ask? Well, here's the reader's digest.

Making Crushed Dreams into Zen Gardens

So, I sent my story in for review by EqD, hoping to get featured, maybe, and get a little buzz going for my story. After all, I want ponies to read this thing-- that's why I wrote it in the first place.

I finally got around to checking my gmail, and sure enough, there was a response...

    I was rejected.

    Chasing Dreams

Hey, everypony! Figured that, now I've got a few words up here for people to look at, I'd write a bit on how and why I put them here.

See, shortly after submitting my last two chapters, I was fired from my job because my bosses thought they could get someone to do what I did, for minimum wage. So the last few weeks have been a little hectic as my wife and I have prayed and struggled to figure out what to do now. We're in the midst of packing now, as we only have until the end of this month to be out of our apartment.

Despite all this, we have a pretty good idea of where we're headed, and are in good spirits. Having hammered out most of the details, we can finally start getting back to a modified semblance of our usual business. So, I'm finally able to dedicate time again to writing, something that has been on my mind for several weeks, and is a great relief to finally resume.

Thanks for your support, and patience. I promise Chaser's story will continue. Enjoy it.
