THIS.
THIS IS THAT. WOW. ERMAHGERD. WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?
I mean, seriously, when? I found this for the cover art of a story and I'm just like "WHADAFAAAA". A MOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE? Dang! And anthro too! I am excited about it, but I can't help but getting a feel like it'll be... awkward... Like some teen girl animation that won't be good... Like that highschool with monsters or whatever the hell that is or that thing with the fairies on Nick... those don't appeal to me at all, and this is giving off the same vibe to me.
But, I should say this again to discard butthurt: I am excited for it. It will be interesting to see how the directors and crew make an anthro movie of the show. It will be interesting to see the plot and what goes on. That is what I'm excited for. Like I've already said, however, it does give off the vibe of being a shitty teen girl cartoon like the ones I've stated above which I dislike ever so much. I hope it's not like that, but I have faith in our writers!
But meh, while we wait, let's watch this beautifully crafted video I found called Gentlebot Hell. It's a TF2 animation on top of the audio from my favorite song, "Robot Hell" from Futurama. :D It's wonderful!
"Equestria girls is a spin-off of the "My Little Pony" universe, which runs its own "non-canon" story, much like a fan-fiction. It is meant to attract more teen girl viewers. It apparently happens inbetween Season 3's terrible finale, and Season 4's opener. It consists of multi-colored, humanized versions of the main cast from "My Little Pony: Friendship is magic," And deals with many problems that Generation 2 of My Little Pony had dealt with: Teenage life, popularity, and a bunch of stuff that most teenagers don't give two fucks about, pardon my french. In my opinion, I believe that this will be a great animation, due to the previous work of the MLP team, and under direction of MLP's new producer. Hopefully, unlike season 3's finale, this will not be a horrible let down. If it is, just quote this song. - Elena Seigman- Abracadavre At this point, the MLP team will probably be saying the following words: "It's killing me (us) to see me (us) killing you. Death is Magic, say abracadavre now..." Mostly because if they screw this up, the show is fucked for ways til Sunday."
Just a little excerpt from an online review I did for my AP classes. That pretty much sums it up c:

I honestly have mixed emotions. I'm excited to see a movie for my favorite show, but the animation and setting just makes it look like its set up to be stereotypical high school drama. Which nobody likes!
