Why you ask? Because eff logic.
Also because my last name reflected a ship that I didn't even like all that much, I just found it to be easy to write. This new name reflects really the only ship that I actually, well, ship.
Anyways back on topic. I realize that some people will not read this blog and then be thoroughly confused when I release my next piece of fiction, even to the point of unfollowing some strange author they have never heard of before. Oh well, I don't write for recognition, I do it mainly for practice and fun.
So, Tavi 'n Scratch. Sadly FimFic doesn't accept the apostrophe. I'm a music kinda of person, and I enjoy the tone (lol pun) of this relationship.
In somewhat related news, Octavia has recieved a canon last name, I am unsure how old this is, but still:
Octavia Melody doesn't sound all that fluid, but I have the feeling it will grow on me.
Also, to clear the air: I don't dislike TwiDash, I've no problem with the ship, but it certainly is not my favorite. Thus this will not affect my upcoming TwiDash, it's still in the works. If I survive this semester I plan to devote a large chunk of my break to writing.
Speaking of which (I'm being quite rambly here, aren't I?) I have "acquired" a proofreader, and he is very good at what he does. I feel his help will greatly increase the quality of future fics.
