Now I'll be honest, it took a while to get Dominion of the Night to where I wanted it to be... much longer than I had ever expected, in fact. But now that I feel I've finally got the story back on its rails - and I should probably be punched for even considering this - I'm going to set a release schedule.

*long pause to wait for the gasps to fade*

Yes, I know. Coming from me, this is borderline insanity.... But, I've let the reality sink in that it's hard (er, borderline impossible) to stay interested in a story that doesn't have a regular release, especially when its ending is nowhere in sight. Because of that, starting May 11th, DotN will begin to release on a 7 day schedule with a new chapter each Saturday.

First up is Chapter 5, Wayward Harbinger, then the following Saturday will see the end of the first arc with the release of Chapter 6, Afflicted. Both of these have titles which probably tell more than they should, so I'll skip giving them descriptions for now.

The story has been moderately slow up to this point, mostly due to the extensive foreshadowing but things will definitely begin to pick up as cause and effect goes into full swing with the second arc and the consequences of Star Swirl's desperation start to play out.
