The Most Useless Weekly Update Ever! · 8:53pm May 5th, 2013
Well, it's Sunday. I was going to post this on Friday like normal, but... I guess I was hoping to make some progress this weekend. So much for that! In reality, this afternoon is the first real chunk of free time I've had since last week, so I haven't gotten much done. I am, however, going to sit down and churn stuff out tonight.
I have a question for you, though, if you're actually out there reading this: once finals are over and I have time to write FOR REAL, I would like to take weekly suggestions as far as word count goes. If you have a certain number of words you think I should write in a given week, let me know; if I accept the challenge, I am obligated to meet the quota. If I do not, there should be some sort of "punishment" involved. What do you think? Let me know, and continue to be patient with my slothfulness!

First I think there should be some rules. For instance, I could make you write 15,000 words in one week, something I haven't even done in three months of strenuous writing. Basically, make you fail. Obviously, you have to set some perimeters for us to follow.
Second, I think the punishment should be determined by the faithful reader whom you cruelly and heartlessly disappointed in lazy disregard and flippant discourse. And it should always be embarrassing and somehow involve cold liquids.
And your slothfulness is condemnable! Even if your writing can be vernal to my spirits.

1057651 And our word of the day, everypony! But yes, I couldn't agree more. Even I have limits; I usually write about 1,000 words in a session, but that's when I don't have much free time. Who knows what I could accomplish with a couple of hours!
Also, your ideas of punishment will probably scare me greatly, so I will be using my better judgment on any suggestions. I have to maintain some self-respect...
Dear 1059490,
This makes me sad. I had a session one time that lasted almost five hours, and barely got 3,000 words in. You, sir, make me feel depressed, degraded, lazy, flippant, farcical, and just plain old exiguous. But then again, quite a few of those attributes are true in my case.
As for self-respect, may I remind you of the age group that a certain show you watch on a frequent basis is geared for? Technically speaking, we have no self-respect anymore, so embarrassing yourself should come as a simple task. However, the punishment needs to be bad enough to keep you writing, otherwise it would be the equivalent of punishing a murder with a wooping to the buttocks. It needs to some point be bad enough that you don't want it. (That is why I'll never be stupid enough to try this loljk) And yes, my ideas of punishment will scare you. Hehe. Better not fail....
All the best anyways,
