Face it Flutterguy, you hit the jackpot!

I have just been awarded the excellent honor of having someone ask to use one of my fics for a dramatic reading. Needless to say, I sqeeing roughly 75% as hard as when I found out David Tennant was in the 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who (Trust me, you have no idea how much of a compliment that is). This awesomeness comes courtesy of

5 Things I Have Learned From Dyeing My Hair Pink

    1. Items around my house have spontaneously also turned pink. Namely the shower, my towel, and my pillow.

    2. Odd looks from the over 40 set have increased, as have high fives from the under 30's.

    3. Despite being really excited for dyeing my hair, I find myself very nervous at the fact that, for the first time in my life, something makes me stand out in a crowd.

    New Doctor Hooves Story Idea

I had a lot of fun writing "Raggedy Doctor Hooves" that a new idea popped into my mind. Sort of how "Raggedy Doctor Hooves" was a re-imagining of "The Eleventh Hour," may I present an excerpt of my latest idea, Working title: "By Any Other Name":

Check it Out, a Collaboration Account!

What were we supposed to do? The ideas came so fast and there were just too many to just trade off hosting duties!

... Wait, you came in late? Do you not follow NintendoGal55? Oh, that last part was important. You see we've been work-shopping ideas for collaborations, and we came up with about a million so we decided why not make a separate account to host them all!

Hey all,

Figured I'd just give a quick update on how I'm doing on my current ongoing stories, etc. Things are moving foreward, though slower than I'd like. I should be finishing up Raggedy Doctor Hooves in the next fortnight or so. I've got the next chapters of Murder at Maresfield and Ragged Wings plotted out and outlined, ready and waiting as it were.

So now for the good news, bad news portion of this post. Good news: I'm walking across the stage to receive my college diploma this Friday (even though I techniqually graduated in December, the May ceremony is for all the year's graduates). Bad news: This means my family will be in town...

That's kind of a mixed bag for me. I live in Chicago, they live in Tampa. So it's nice to see them, catch up, all that. But whenever my family is around, I can't really be my nerdy, brony, comic-loving self. They just don't really get it, and unlike my wife, they are far from supportive. Add to the mix that my brother will be staying with my wife and I, and that just cements that I won't be able to spend much time being myself.

I love my brother, I really do, but we are complete and total opposites. Me = Nerd, lover of comic books, and fan fiction author. My Brother = captain of his high school soccer team, sports fan, and current frat boy. So yeah, I may be scarce towards the end of next week, so I apologize in advance.

I also realize I've been venting a bit, so um, yeah sorry bout that. Anyhow, have a good week folks!

Iron Man 3, so far the best movie I've seen all year.

Anyway, I guess I should give my congratulations were they've been earned, and good luck where it is needed.

1056093 Thanks for the congrats and the luck

1056621 They'll be in town from Wednesday through Sunday

Well, at least they know your a brony right? Better then them not knowing.

My family is quite okay with me being a brony. I frequently discuss the show and the fandom with them. Heck all my siblings are bronies.

1056729 Yeah, I mean it's not a tragedy or anything, just an inconvenience.

1056865 Yeah, uh, they don't really know that I am specifically a brony, they just know I like things they don't get... Yeah I don't think I'm going to be telling them.
