Short Story Time 4

The crowd yawned at the unending droning of the man standing at the podium. Normally, people would be excited at the prospect of seeing Gabe Newell talking at this year's E3, but as the grand lord of Valve initiated his speech with more talk of GabeN, the assembled journalists soon became disappointed at the lack of news concerning any new game release from the studio and dozed off. As Gabe's speech ran to an end, the crowd felt elated to see the overweight god of gaming waddle off the stage. Suddenly, he halted and strode up again, earning the crowd's full attention.

"Oh, and by the way..." A massive 3 appeared on the screen behind Newell. The whole crowd gasped and held their breaths in anticipation.

The letter E appeared right beside it. "Have a nice E3."

Then someone in the crowd pulled out a gun and shot the fat fucker.
