For any Avoiding Clichés readers, you may want to check out Princess Luna Visits a Wet Dream and One Day in the Life of Princess Celestia. Clichés were avoided, but these stories turned out long enough to deserve being posted separately. If you haven't read these yet, there are spoilers later in this post.
Well, despite working overtime for much of last month, some exciting stuff happened. I made it into the feature box with Princess Luna Visits a Wet Dream, and after releasing its side story One Day in the Life of Princess Celestia I now have over nine thousand total story views. So that's cool.
In case you didn't see my birthday update a few days ago, I'll repeat the announcement here. I'm taking a break from writing. Sort of. I find that my writing isn't as good as I'd like it to be, so for a little while I'm going to be reading during a lot more of my spare time rather than writing, and what time I do spend writing will probably be editing and rewriting my existing stories. I've got a stack of Stephen King novels on my bedside table right now and quite a few romance novels in the queue as well. I'm sure that doesn't give any clues as to what kind of fics I'll be writing soon...
...so I'll tell you.
Unless inspiration strikes me otherwise, the next story I write will be Everypony Knows About the Wet Dream. Obviously a sequel to Princess Luna Visits a Wet Dream, this one is set to begin two or three days after that one ended, and it will be from Rarity's perspective. Think of all the deliciously awkward conversations that she'll get to have. Especially since she doesn't know that they know. The question is, how did they find out?
After that I may be writing a romance (since I haven't done one of those yet) involving the Princess of the Night and a certain DJ. The bass has been doubled. (Note to self: have Luna say that line somewhere.)
There's also a changeling story in the works, but I'm not sure when I'll be getting to that one.
After that I'm liable to cut back on the fan fics again for a while in order to write a novel that's been simmering in the back of my mind for a few years now.
