Face it Flutterguy, you hit the jackpot!

I have just been awarded the excellent honor of having someone ask to use one of my fics for a dramatic reading. Needless to say, I sqeeing roughly 75% as hard as when I found out David Tennant was in the 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who (Trust me, you have no idea how much of a compliment that is). This awesomeness comes courtesy of

5 Things I Have Learned From Dyeing My Hair Pink

    1. Items around my house have spontaneously also turned pink. Namely the shower, my towel, and my pillow.

    2. Odd looks from the over 40 set have increased, as have high fives from the under 30's.

    3. Despite being really excited for dyeing my hair, I find myself very nervous at the fact that, for the first time in my life, something makes me stand out in a crowd.

    Sequel Time!

The kinda-much-discussed, semi-sorta-anticipated sequel to my first ever fanfic is now live, and while only the prologue is up at the moment, expect more in the vague and nebulous future!

    New Doctor Hooves Story Idea

I had a lot of fun writing "Raggedy Doctor Hooves" that a new idea popped into my mind. Sort of how "Raggedy Doctor Hooves" was a re-imagining of "The Eleventh Hour," may I present an excerpt of my latest idea, Working title: "By Any Other Name":

Check it Out, a Collaboration Account!

What were we supposed to do? The ideas came so fast and there were just too many to just trade off hosting duties!

... Wait, you came in late? Do you not follow NintendoGal55? Oh, that last part was important. You see we've been work-shopping ideas for collaborations, and we came up with about a million so we decided why not make a separate account to host them all!

Just an Ordinary Day · 6:51pm Apr 30th, 2013

So I've been having a rough go of it these past few days, just sort of been in a dark place mentally, but not today. Today the sun is shining, the weather is warm, and the perfect song came on my mp3 player:

"In this beautiful life, but there's always some sorrow
It's a double-edged knife, but there's always tomorrow
It's up to you now if you sink or swim,
Keep the faith and your ship will come in.
It's not so bad"

1044842 Thanks for the offer.

Nothing in particular happened, I just sort of struggle with depression, so I have my good days and my bad days, and last weekend frankly sucked.

This song will always, without fail, get me out of the dumps.

And I didn't know you suffered from depression.

1045697 Thanks for the song! Yeah, I mean it's rather mild overall, or at least not bad enough that I want to take any meds for it.

1045736 Well I know Owl City's not exactly everyone's cup of tea (though why not is beyond me:trollestia:) but I figured you'd appreciate the gesture.

I could have put Friday:trollestia:

1045758 I like Owl City, perfect chill out music.

Personally I love to listen to it when it's snowing out. The ethereal style of the music matches well with the quiet cold of a snowy winter day, though you'll have to take my word on that one

1045786 Weird!

For some reason, I always thought about winter when I hear his music too.
