Story Deletion

So you may have noticed I've deleted my Equestria Games story. This is for two reasons.
Firstly, I've got a bit of writers block with it and I'm not really sure how to get to where I want to go. I've been stuck on this for quite a while, and it doesn't seem to be improving, so even though I had a bunch more chapters ready that I hadn't uploaded yet, I didn't want to reach the point where I couldn't upload any more.
Secondly, and most importantly, I was getting a lot of negative feedback off ponies simply because it was a Hunger Games crossover, without them actually reading the story. I understand that the concept is popular, and even though I write simply for pure enjoyment, it was rather annoying and disheartening to be judged for my subject choice instead of my actual writing.
On a more positive note, thank you to those few who gave good feedback, and I'm hoping to post more, shorter, stories soon, mainly due to the fact me and a couple of my friends have challenged each other to a story prompt challenge, which was supposed to be fortnightly but due to exams is more likely going to be monthly.
A final note, I'm not very good at blog posts because it feels weird writing to somepony when I'm pretty sure hardly any/no pony will actually read this.
