out of the mane six, i was surprised to find that i grew a close attachment to the honest one of the group. yep the southern belle herself, applejack, is my favorite pony.
coming into the show my eyes immediately drew to rainbow dash at first, her confident attitude and tomboyish ways made me want to more about her. from there it switched to pinkie pie, all that random and optimistic behavior made me smile every time she popped out of nowhere. then it went it went to derpy hooves, just because i like muffins to.
though i didn't really pine myself to look into rarity, fluttershy, or even twilight sparkle. i liked them for who there personalities and grew to like all six by the time i finished season 1.
but after re-watching the episodes, my eyes seem to always draw to the country home fillie herself.
