    Beyond Equestria

Equestria itself is sometimes as a country more then the whole world of which the show is set in. our world is a big place, so one would imagine that whatever they call the world these ponies live in is also a fantastically enormous world in itself. sure it a bit foward to think about a series world since its only had one season and couple of episodes of second to have a theory of foreign lands

Equestria itself is sometimes as a country more then the whole world of which the show is set in. our world is a big place, so one would imagine that whatever they call the world these ponies live in is also a fantastically enormous world in itself. sure it a bit foward to think about a series world since its only had one season and couple of episodes of second to have a theory of foreign lands that laid outside of its borders.

in the 1rst season one or all of the main 6 have gone to many places, such as canterlot, clouds dale, Appaloosa, Manehattan, and the as of only mentioned fillydelphia.

but when they introduced zecora, they introduced the concept that there entire countrys out there, though in art of the dress, fluttershy mentions that there is a france in there world. so what does this mean? it could mean that there are entirely differnt cultures out there besides ponies. sure there are diamond dogs and dragons, but i mean other animals societys.

it has been explored in many fanfics.

most notably fallout: equestria, it's dangerous to go out your door, and one fics name that sadly escapes that is set in china.

-------------------------------------

now here's where i start through my theories and ideas out there and i would kindly like to heat your opinion on the subject and my ideas.

one idea i had was a India esc, country. that does have ponies dwelling in it but was founded by hindu elephants. or in a mo,re canon case, what society's would live in Africa. zebra's probably live along side giraffes and gazelles, much like the ponies sometimes live along side buffalo and donkeys. i could go for ever setting particular bi-pedal creatures to distinguishable countries, like bulls live in Spain, rams in Russia, and yaks in the Himalaya's but i should move onto the next subject, magic!

but there are also the fact that magic is very much real in the world of my little ponies. so it isn't far fetched to think that there would dwell more mystical creatures beside, gryphon's, hydra's, manticore's, and most obviously dragons. these strive European folklore and myth, which makes sense since i always saw equestria as a joint country of Britain, America, Canada, and Ireland to name a few.

so in another mythos, lets say Japanese, a probable daily occurrence for Japanese ponies would be creatures like the kappa and giant red oni ponies. or in Italy where minotaurs and chimera's constantly roam the mountains, since Greek mythology resonated there years ago. there are also very different forms of magic that come from different countries. like in Africa and Australia where a known magic is shaman-ism, while maybe different countries they lay just outside of equestria could hold a very similar magic like alchemy.

but then comes the question of "but isnt celestia the god of this world". i never really saw celestia as a god, sure she controlles the sun but if she was that powerful why wouldnt she try to help out when crap got to its worst. fans have speculated that she takes extreme enjoyment out of the pain of other ponies and just lets the elements of harmony deal with the important crap. but i personally believe she isnt the only one who can control the sun.

my theory is that across this world are powerful magical individuals who are granted incredible power as to keep balance in there world. she is probably just the descendant of the original ponie who founded this plan. as to keep in complete control of the world so it would be thrown into a dark era that probably proceeded it. there most likely not all ponies either but all hold a special symbol of the sun on them showing they have the control over the course of the sun in there location of country. while the same goes for the moon across this world as well. these super magical most likely keep in contact with one another on a regular basis but keep to there own accord when it comes to ordeals. which would explain why no one showed up when nightmare moon try to make night forever over in equestria or when discord made a topsyturvy version of the same land.

what we have here is a bit of a ignorant world. there so intent on keeping order that if they were all to fall this world would go down the same drain they worked so hard to crawl there selfs out off.

all i'm really trying to explore is the vastness and mystery that this world that the incredible fans of this show hasnt created or let alone the show itself explored. so that we can become even more involved in this world to the extent as other universe such as star wars and lord of the rings. because the fans have created so much so far that even the writers of the show didnt think of.

theres a lot to discover and so much to make, because the moons the limit.
