This is what canterlotguardian, TheCloudtop, and I were just talking about:

canterlotgurdian: I basically said I was nothing special and Cloud's been trying to convince me otherwise
TheCloudtop: because like I've told you before, I don't think I'm anything special and I don't believe anybody else should either. I'm just one single person in a world with over 7 billion others that, in one way or another, are exactly like me.
That is what he said.
Hothead112: Wow. Okay, I think I see what's happening.
TCT: Yeah, what do you see?
H112: He is just being modest. @CG, Dude, you have to give yourself more credit than that. I can sincerely say that you are a very talented writer. In fact you're one of the most talented I know. I'm not saying this just because of what TheCloudtop said. This is all from the bottom of my heart.
CG: i guess it kinda comes from the fact that i've always had very low self esteem. i've never thought much of myself
TCT: Well, that is no problem. You have me as a friend. I will never allow you to think down of yourself.
You will come to see yourself as I do.
An amazing person.
And someone that has a lot to offer to this world.
CG: This isn't a bad thing. It's actually very good to be modest rather than boast, as we saw in The Mysterious Mare Do Well episode.
TCT: There is a difference between humility, and honestly thinking you are nothing special.
Everyone has something to offer.
Everyone.
CG, I see the potential insdie you.
You are awesome, and I mean that.
CG: having potential is different from achieving said potential
TCT: And if you never allow yourself to see what you have, you will never be able to use it.
H112: True, but he's not trying to be anything special. He's trying to be himself. Nothing more, and nothing less. Well, that's what I got from what he said, anyway.
That was in response to what you said before.
CG: see that's the problem. I don't see myself as being something special. I'm just one in 7 billion
TCT: CG, you know my beliefs.
H112: Okay, I have to disagree with you there. CG.
CG: yes?
TCT: You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God Himself. There has never been anyone like you, and there never will be.
CG: in a way I know that, but I've just never been able to incorporate that
TCT: What you speak about yourself, no matter if it is good or bad, becomes true about you.
H112: You are not one in 7 billion. Actually, let me rephrase that. You are one in 7 billion. But only in the way that you are unique in your own right. There is no one person on the world like you, because you take traits that others share with each other, and twist them so that they are yours and yours alone.
TCT: AMEN!
I could not agree more!
CG: what I don't get is why you two are actually taking your time out to make me see this
TCT: Because I love you, and I want you to be the best you can be.
H112: Because you're not recognizing it on your own and it aggravates us.
CG: but aside from this conversation and me mentioning this to cloud once. i never talk about this with anybody
TCT: I am your friend. Friends are there for each other, especially in times like this.
H112: A little bit of a sidetrack here, but I'm always here if you need someone to talk to.
TCT: Well, do I have to make a blog about this? Get other people to tell you the same thing?
H112: I'm going to do it first!
TCT: GO FOR IT!
CG: please don't. I'm just going to tell them the same thing, plus people get mad when you make blog posts just to tell them about one person
TCT: It has never been that way for me.
Tis not the point anyways.
If someone I call friend cannot see who they are, and how special they are, I am going to do everything I can to get them to see what I see.

I leave this here and it is up to you if you want to help canterlotguardian see how wrong he is about himself. I hope you try as hard as we are to convince him how special he is.
