Been a while since I've done one of these, huh? I ran out of subgenres to give a primer on (no, I won't do post-metal, sludge metal, they are mostly boring), so let's go over new shit I found in my 1 year hiatus.

For those of you that missed it, Jeff Hanneman's memorial service was today in LA. This blog is a good read, and the thought of a bunch of circle pits going on at the service warms my heart.
I'm not gonna lie, this is the good shit. Its like Falling Off The Edge Of The World crossed with Children of The Grave, and that makes me incredibly happy.
