    It's that time.

Well, it's about that time. As much as I hate leaving things unfinished I just haven't been feeling much love for MLP in a while. The stories here no longer interest me and I really haven't watched an epsiode in at least a year if not more. Why am I doing this? I guess to head off any questions as to where I've been or if such and such a story will be continued.

He's not dead. He just left early to avoid the rush.

It's not often that the death of a well known figure affects me. When Leonard Nimoy died I merely said, "that's too bad" even though I was a massive Trekkie in my youth. When Robin Williams died I said, "what a shame" even though I thought his early stand up days were some of the funniest things I had ever seen. But this is possibly the first time I've felt actual sadness at the passing of a

I've gone through a bit of a dry spell, not much in the way of inspiration and have a half-dozen things sitting on the back burner waiting for me to pick them up again.

    Plagiarism 2: Electric Boogaloo

Guess who's back? Everybody's favorite thief, "TheSequentialArtMan". He's back and hasn't changed one bit. In fact I checked his story and while he put some of the chapters away, a great deal of his first chapter is still lifted verbatim from "A Doorway to Another Place".

Plagiarism or "I couldn't think of anything so I copied you".

It's not a nice thing when somebody takes your work and copies it. I'm not talking somebody that takes the idea or even the concept and reworks it as their own. No, I mean when somebody goes as far as to actually steal your words and then acts like it's no big deal.

I log on today and find seven notifications concerning faves, comments and the like. Not that I'm complaining or anything, hell I think it's awesome that people are still liking my stuff but I got to wondering where these new views were coming from. Typically they're coming from google but a whopping 14% of the referrals came from some Russian 4chan type site called "2ch.hk". Specifically this link: http://2ch.hk/mlp/res/1557995.html.

Now I don't read Russian, not that I never wanted to learn but honestly I just never found the time to do so. And here's a bunch of stories and the like being advertised and getting views. It's pretty cool IMO but I'm now curious as to what was said about them. I tried to put it through a google translate but there's a reason why word for word translations never work, the meaning is always lost in the process.

And while I can live happily without actually knowing what they said, I will forever be curious unless some kind soul out there would be able to tell me what "Открываешь дверь в сортир, а там лошадка. Лошадке повезло, Эквестрии из-за ее безответственности и склонности думать пиздуй - не очень" actually means.

Dat russian... :rainbowlaugh:

I'm not a native speaker, but i'm from one of the former USSR countries, so there were a lot of "leftover" russians that got shipped here during the occupation in the attempts to russify everyone, so i learned from them and can speak and read it... more or less.

Basically, it's a short description of the Doorway story. Slightly crude description, as is the russian way. :derpytongue2:
"You open the door to the bathroom, and there's a mare. The mare got lucky; Equestria, due to her complete irresponsibility and tendency not to think shit through, didn't."
The last words actually are not very/not really. Basically, Twilight got lucky with how the spell turned out, and the rest of Equestria didn't. Not quite sure why, but that's the meaning, pretty much.

Awesome! Thanks for the translation although I'm confused about it being the bathroom instead of the bedroom. I guess I could play it like one of those "in Soviet Russia..." jokes.

But yeah, thanks a lot for that. You deserve a moustache. :moustache:

You're welcome. Though i noticed you made this post 3 months ago only afterwards. :rainbowlaugh:

Regarding the bathroom, Isn't that how the story started? Rick was going to take a shower in the morning, was walking to the bathroom, and ended up in Twilight's library?

Well better eventually than never. :pinkiehappy:

In a way. He woke up, had his coffee and opened the door from his bedroom as he headed to the bathroom to take a shower. But after opening the door and in the process of shedding his clothes he notices that he's in the Golden Oaks library and both Twilight and Spike are staring at him for good reason I might add.

So he never actually reached the bathroom until he enterred his apartment from the side door.
