Just Some Thoughts

Well, this is for my own benefit then anybody else really. But to those who decided to creep on this anyways, that's awesome I guess.

I never wrote a war fic before, and From the Ashes is my real first. I've written all other types of fan fiction under the sun from comedy to historical fiction. I really want to do a good job with this one, so in addition to writing character death and politics, I will also tap into the psychological standpoints and issues of different characters. (As such I will probably be changing the main character list from time to time.) I know that the war genre is probably one of the more overused tropes, and I want to differentiate my story from the rest. If I manage to accomplish that goal remains to be seen. I hope I do.

I would also like to say I love mythology, so in my current fic, and future ones (whatever they may be) you can expect to see allusions to the ancient gods and goddesses which used to rule this land.

But most importantly, I hope people enjoy my writing. I think that is the main goal every author strives for.
