A (not very good) Luna Poem and a Self-Intro with plans. · 3:35am Apr 3rd, 2013
I used to write poetry on occasion whenever the whimsy struck me. I was never very good. Anyway, I was inspired by PonyPhonic's Lullaby for a Princess and Mskarlshipper's Luna's Reply songs on YouTube and decided to take a crack at a poem from Luna's Point of View after being sent to the moon. Rhyming isn't usually my thing but it happened. Without further ado (about nothing):
A moment of weakness,
An eternity of darkness.
My mind is split in twain,
Both halves in endless pain.
I know not the time of day,
All I can do is wait and pray:
A hope of atonement,
An end to imprisonment,
A return to my Sister,
Oh, how I do miss her...
But my sins are too great
Since I was consumed by hate
I deserve this dark fate
For me, it is too late.
So intense was my fury
I burned one who loved me.
Oh, Starlight, carry my regret,
Please help my sister to forget,
And leave me my sorrow in kind.
Just leave me here in my mind...
So that's that. Pretty meh, in my opinion. Doesn't flow as well as I would like. Bash it into oblivion if you want.
Now, you can call me Shadow, or Fenrir, or Shadow Fenrir or whatever. I've been known by both names separately and other names and all the names. I'm an author of terrible poetry and strange prose who has liked MLP FiM for a long time but only recently (so I would I say) joined the fandom. Luna is my favorite pony, I like reading, biology, and metal music, and my Zodiac is Scorpio. Randomness humours me. I also have a random story idea. So for anyone who happened to read this, and read up until now, I will give you a little hint full of cryptic-ness.
A dream, or perhaps not a dream, or maybe a dream within a dream (don't bring up Inception, lucid dreaming has been around far longer). A circle is broken, a pair apart. A land familiar, yet vastly different. Time in a downward spiral, ever repeating. But a single stone can cast ripples upon ripples, and perhaps the chain of fate is not unbreakable.
Yup. That's meh preview. On a side note, I might be a little nuts. C'est la vie, I suppose. At least it is more exciting than sanity.
Thanks for reading, hope to see you around!
