Hello all! I bring you, once again, some poetry that my lazy ass decided to write... Enjoy.
~The Greatest Puzzle~
Piece by piece my emotions fall,
as do the paintings once hung on these barren walls.
For my heart has begun to beat in disbelief,
as I feel this loneliness and see it as deceit.
Travel through and search the looking glass,
as I suffocate in the waves and rain of the past.
Stay and dare to dig to search deeper,
as I find the missing pieces of a life made cheaper.
~Leaves~
Through the window do I see a pinnacle of life pass before me.
Laughter and love seem like a fleeting dream, for which I am no longer worthy deemed.
This life a solitude for I am inclined to bare, has left scars and contusions that I cannot share.
But oh now I see the window filled with light, but it will pass surely as I might.
Alone I whisper to my heart as it rests in the dark, praying for a change ever so meager as a spark.
With forked tongues I smother in lies, as I call out to myself and with a tear say goodbye.
Through the window do I see, myself falling as the leaves.
