Lazy, but not, and other mildly delirious words from my keyboard

Warning: When given the option to type a lot for no reason, I will do such. May contain mild tangential ranting that doesn't really need to exist.

    A blog thing

Today I didn't get the second chapter of Slender: Equestria fixed, but I did delete the many, MANY uh... concepts of stories from my unpublished stories section. At least mostly. It was a lot of things you have no idea.

    Holy carp barbledegook!

I truly am worse than dragons! I made a decent story and then the site became too much of a hassle to use on my kindle, then literally impossible when I tried to come back on it due to site changes making it so if I didn't change page every few seconds while on my kindle, I would have to log in again. Now that I have a laptop, I could continue writing possibly. Apparently I was somewhat liked 2

    WRITER CHALLENGE

I feel like doing a little challenge.

In the comments (Where else?) I want you to put down suggestions for me to write a crack fic of.

Example: Write a fic where Solid Snake ends up in Equestria with Alice from American McGee's Alice with the Necronomicon as a plot point.

Example: Break the fourth wall with a sledgehammer, make Pinkie a robot, reference a minimum of 7 things per chapter.

New World of Darkness: Changeling: The Lost

I have recently discovered the New World of Darkness series while trolling TV Tropes. I got interested in Changeling: The Lost and decided I kind of want to make a character. I was thinking of a Moonborn or a Whisperwisp or whatever they were, leaning on the latter (the one that are spies and spread rumors), in the Winter Court. I have no idea what my character will look like without his Mask, or

Hasbro and their Cease and Desist thing · 3:46pm Mar 24th, 2013

Hasbro has been putting out Cease and Desist orders on huge things in the community like the Mane6's Fighting is Magic or this FiM Online I found. I actually have to wonder... why? They aren't for profit and are made with custon items, absolutely zero things stolen, and the rights of MLP belonging to Hasbro are mentioned.

I find the fact that there was no provocation to be the real concern here. What made them close it? The only thing used is the characters and locations, but if that is the case, that gets rid of everything not licensed by them, which includes fanfiction, fan art, fan games, Ponychan, Equestria Daily, Fimfiction... Everything about the show would have to come down. So why is Hasbro removing huge projects like these?

The reason they have to isn't really well put out there, no one can really give you a true answer about it.

I think it's because Mane 6 broke their agreement with Hasbro, releasing game footage when they weren't supposed to.

FiW broke copyright.

FiM Online also broke copyright.

Friendship is Witchcraft.
It was a comedy thing where they took an MLP episode and just replaced the audio with their own stuff.

942715
Friendship is Witchcraft is parody, which protects them from the law in this case. So them getting sued there. They should be good.

942749
It may be a parody, but they literally took the entire visual art and replaced the audio to call it their own, that is against American copyright laws.

942765
Good point, but is it for-profit? Are they being paid? Mane6 wasn't for-profit.

942785
Mane 6 wasn't for profit but they had a deal with Hasbro to use the CGI animations of the mane six characters, the contract had a few things and one of the rules to keep the contract was to not release any footage of the game. They did, so the contract became null and void.

942788 That's news to me. Where did you hear it?

1951714
That was like a year ago, I don't recall where I heard it.

1952234 So I guess it's good news for other projects as long as they abide within the bounds of whatever permission was granted?

Also, it'd sure be a sour day if this site were to get the letter, but a new one would doubtlessly pop up in its place. :/
