    Wow. . .

It's amazing how time passes quickly when you're supposed to be doing something. Procrastination just makes the days fly right on by, doesn't it! For example, I thought I would take a little break after uploading the last chapter of Lyra Heartstrings, and whaddya know, it's been three weeks since I've written anything.

    Some Good News

Well, yesterday was my mother's birthday, but the family decided to celebrate it today. So we all got together, a thing that is increasingly difficult with everyone's varying schedules. I cooked dinner, everyone else shot the breeze in the living room, until it came time for the gifts for my mom. My eldest brother and his wife handed her a wrapped gift, and as she tore away the paper, she

    Owww.....

Well, as weird fate would have it, I finally started getting over my writer's block. But tonight, I burned the ever-loving God out of my fingers. Second degree burns, they hurt like hell. I typed this one handed, and I can't go anywhere without my left hand partially immersed in ice water. And the ice water is the only thing stopping the searing pain when my burn touches air. Sleep will be a

    RANDOM BLOG POST!

Well, most of you haven't heard from me in literally months, so I have made the decision to sort of give a sign that yes, I am still alive. Dark Nebula can somewhat vouch for that. I have been job hunting to the extreme lately, and though I am very skilled in several areas, the only two places that will even consider me are Home Depot and Quik Trip. And not even the Quik Trip gas station, I'm

    Well, that was anticlimactic

The computer problem is fixed. Google Chrome appeared to be the problem more than anything, and all I had to do was switch to another browser. So, Firefox it is.

On another note, happy birthday to me. I'm twenty-two, and as lonely as ever.

I was going to upload some pictures of kittens and puppies that I snapped at work, but my SD card is not complying.

Locking the Doors. · 4:36pm Mar 22nd, 2013

Apparently an armed robbery went bad just a few miles from my house, and the police chased them out to my area. I heard something about a wreck, and some of them are in custody, but there's a damn police helicopter and dozens of police cruisers patrolling the area. So I think one or more of them might have escaped that wreck.

Just a little worried, all the doors are locked and I have two loaded handguns within reach, plus a 12 gauge loaded with buckshot. If one of those sons of bitches comes calling, he'd better make peace with himself.

Good hunting! :pinkiecrazy:
No seriously, something like that happened in my town a few years ago. After using a police for a few hours they captured only one of the bankrobbers, he had ALL the money in his POCKETS!
"It wasn't me", he said. "My buddy robbed the bank, I did nothing! He just gave me the money!"

Good to hear you're prepared, but remember, finger off the trigger until you draw down! :rainbowdetermined2: Do you live in one of the states that has a 'castle' law?

Seriously, that's a much better attitude than cowering. Hope they get them before anyone is forced to do something drastic.

Oh, and do NOT take the Vice President's advice vis a vis shotguns to heart!

Firing a volley through the door is a good way to make sure the Girls Scouts NEVER deliver cookies again.

939062 Yessir, one of the most lenient Castle Laws in the country. Good ol' Missoura Castle Law. Anything I own or rent can be protected by force.
