Locking the Doors. · 4:36pm Mar 22nd, 2013
Apparently an armed robbery went bad just a few miles from my house, and the police chased them out to my area. I heard something about a wreck, and some of them are in custody, but there's a damn police helicopter and dozens of police cruisers patrolling the area. So I think one or more of them might have escaped that wreck.
Just a little worried, all the doors are locked and I have two loaded handguns within reach, plus a 12 gauge loaded with buckshot. If one of those sons of bitches comes calling, he'd better make peace with himself.
Good hunting!
No seriously, something like that happened in my town a few years ago. After using a police for a few hours they captured only one of the bankrobbers, he had ALL the money in his POCKETS!
"It wasn't me", he said. "My buddy robbed the bank, I did nothing! He just gave me the money!"
Good to hear you're prepared, but remember, finger off the trigger until you draw down! Do you live in one of the states that has a 'castle' law?
Seriously, that's a much better attitude than cowering. Hope they get them before anyone is forced to do something drastic.
Oh, and do NOT take the Vice President's advice vis a vis shotguns to heart!
Firing a volley through the door is a good way to make sure the Girls Scouts NEVER deliver cookies again.
939062 Yessir, one of the most lenient Castle Laws in the country. Good ol' Missoura Castle Law. Anything I own or rent can be protected by force.
