Hey guys, im Derpy_Pie, i dont know if anyone is actually reading this, seeing as right now i have 0 followers, 0 blogs, and 0 stories, but hey who knows. Anyway i'm just sitting here, on my desktop, bored out of my mind, waiting for either an update on fimfiction about some of my favorite stories, while listening to some music. I've been thinking of maybe starting a story of my own, now im no author but i am kind of an english major so i dont know how well it would go, i love the romance aspect of these stories so im guessing for an idea i would base the story around that. Now i've been thinking about this and for main characters i was thinking of choosing a new colt for the male role, or possibly a human, depends who will have left all of his behind, on purpose or not, and came to ponyville, whether it be a stunning move or magical circumstances, im still at a loss for words to pick which. Now anyone can chime in on this situation, but i know no one is reading this so this is basically just me being bored and rambling on about nothing. So ya....OH back to my discussion! Anyway for female roles i was thinking possibly choosing Pinkie pie or Derpy hooves (ditzy doo) as the female role, im not completely certain on Derpy because it has been done a lot before but she is still one of my favorite ponies so it is under consideration. But ya that is the base of this rant.......Anyway i guess this is a goodbye for now, i might make more i might not, depending how the future unfolds.

I suppose I can jump in and make some comments on this. If you're thinking about writing something, anything, always have an idea of what you want to write. For the main character the first thing you will want to consider is personality. Before you do any type of development of plot you need to know the main character inside and out. This will allow you to better chose the target of their affection.
For the love interest, personally, I'd choose Pinkie. I can see the attraction to Derpy, but I find that Pinkie has more material about her, and so she'd lead to a more rounded plot.
I saw that you tracked The Long Road, my second story, and Rising Sun, my first, and I appreciate it. But in order to get followers, and replies to your blog, you'll need to get yourself out there more.
I suggest by starting a story, just to get your work out there. It can't hurt, and the worst that will happen is that you get some bad reviews. I was initially afraid of the response I'd get, but I got over it. You aren't writing to please the community, even though it is nice, you're writing for yourself.
I don't know if it is obvious, but I'm actually pretty bad at writing. The reason I do well is because I enjoy it. If you enjoy it, then you'll do well. On a side note, if you need an editor, or something, or someone to bounce ideas off of, I'd be willing to fill those roles.
