Strange, yet maybe cool, idea for a new story. · 4:11am Mar 4th, 2013
This is probably something that I wont have time to write but may try for the future.
I recently read a pretty nice story about Cadence being Chrysalis all along and that the Chrysalis that attacked Canterlot was a fake.
She still married Shinning Armour and live happily ever after, or at least I'm assuming since it hasn't ended yet...
Anyway, my idea is this;
What if that while Shinning Armour was mind controlled, he a Chrysalis did "IT".
She was trying to keep up the act and at one point they did "IT" by accident.
(If you can't tell by now I mean "IT" as in they had sex, if you couldn't tell.)
And so, after the invasion failed, Chrysalis finds out she's pregnant with Shinning Armour's foal.
She's scared by the fact that since a new "King" is coming in then she might lose her power of the throne.
Furthermore, being the mother of a cross-bred species may lose what little respect she has in the Hive.
And so, without them realizing it, she carries the child the full months, and when she finally gives birth she gets rid of her newborn son somewhere deep in the forest. (Can be any forest.)
His cry's can be heard in the large forest but before any predators can find him he is found by a tall, strong stallion.
At first the stallion was going to kill him, knowing how evil changelings are, but when he finds out how scared and young the baby changeling is he has a change of heart and takes him home on the farm with the rest of his family.
The wife is at first against it but when he tells her how that would make them as bad as the changelings she changes her mind.
A day or two later the baby accidentally comes up with a disguise and lives the next 18 years of his life on the farm with his Mom, Dad, and two brothers.
And so, 18 years later he leaves his parents to join his older brothers who are part of the Equestrian army that is currently at war with the griffons.
Cadence and Shinning themselves have a child but for some odd reason he grows up to be a complete jerk.
When the changeling son comes in (Nobody knows who his real parents are and only his family know that he's a changeling, not even himself knows...) the Prince gets jealous and then bad stuff happens.
I would describe more but I don't really have the time.
Still, this sounds like it could make a good story so I could use some input if this interests anybody.
I like this idea.
And would like to read it someday... but don't you have something else you should be working on?

Still, I need to figure out a NAME for my current project, but what???
