I need a title… · 3:51pm Feb 26th, 2013
… for a story I’m writing.
‘But Silver Moon,’ you ask, ‘don’t you already have three incomplete stories here?’
Well, yes. I do. But one of them will never be completed as it is a collection of non-related shorts. So I only really have two. Which I will complete when I get ideas for them. OK? OK. Don’t worry. I’m on it. And I’m totally not working on yet another story on top of these. And it most certainly is not about Alicorn Twi and it doesn’t have a [Sad] tag. Psh, of course not. *wink wink*
Anyway, I have another story I’m writing and I’m (almost) finished the first chapter, so I really want to post it. Partly because that is the only way I can guarantee that I finish it and partly because I end the chapter really meanly and I enjoy torturing people.
So, the story is staring the Cutie Mark Crusaders and three OCs I made for this story. Tags are [Dark] and [Tragedy]. It is based on a prompt I found online (non-pony related, but I made it so anyway) that was something like ‘The kids had two choices. Either they could stay out in the pounding hail and growing storm, or they could seek shelter in the creepy barn.’ Chapter one is currently over 6000 words and titled ‘The Storm.’ It will be at least one more chapter, maybe more, and an epilogue.
The description will be something like this:
A day of Cutie Mark Crusading takes a turn for the worse when a storm hits. The world suddenly dark and wet, the girls find themselves trapped in the Everfree Forest, getting more and more lost with every turn. Tired, miserable and weak, they are about to give up hope when they find an empty, old building in a cluster of trees.
But shelter is not always the best choice, especially when the ‘empty’ shelter is home to some who do not wish to be found.
So, any ideas? I want to get this up this weekend, but I need a title and I am at a total blank!
Please help!!
-Silver Moon
Doesn't sound like a story I'd much like (don't read tragedy), but how about this for a suggestion: 'Dark and Darker.'
Good luck! Cheers!
