When I posted my first story, I wasn't very happy with it. The plot was far too rushed, there was a severe lack of character development, and it wasn't very emotional at all for a Romance fic. All in all, not something I'm particularly pleased with. It got almost 800 views pretty much overnight, and now it's up to over a thousand.
I posted my second story, and this time I actually put a lot of effort into it. I'm rather glad to say it's a good piece of fiction, one that has a logical development and some humorous parts. It's been well over 72 hours, and it still only has 400 views, significantly less than my first fic got in that same time frame.
Conclusion: People enjoy shipping stories much more than Fluttertree stories.
Meh, I'm not complaining. I can't control what you guys do. But hopefully, I'll have learned something from this.
(On a completely unrelated note, I think the word "tree" has lost all sense of meaning to me now.)
