Quick update + poem · 8:17pm Feb 24th, 2013
Okay guys, so I've been working on chapter 2 of Night Mare's Knight, and I'll be honest. It's slow pickings. I think I have another Writer's Block. :/ Anyways, I'm at about the 750 word mark for the chapter, and I'm trying to make it flow properly, but I don't quite have the mood-appropriate music for it. I need two songs, preferably lyricless. One with a sort of bittersweet/upbeat-ish mood, and I need one with a grim ish kinda mood (think of a scene where a huge conspiracy is taking shape). If you know any good ones, let me know so I can stop scouring youtube for something and start writing again. Without further ado, moar poetry.
Betrayed
Onwards, brothers. Unto dusk.
Into the fray, with armor and arm,
we must protect each other from harm,
In this fight there is no forgiveness.
I tear the man that charges your six,
covering you from a fatal blow,
and allowing your onslaught forward flow,
without mercy, and without forgiveness.
But as I fight, I notice you,
aimed at me with arrow and bow,
a chill I thought I'd never know,
I only know I've been betrayed.
