This season finale... I still don't know what to make of it.

I loved it. I felt like it was a nice completion of Twilight's character arc. Too bad it looks like they're phasing her out of the group as a result, but if MLP ended on this note, I'd be satisfied. Plus, Celestia is bestia singer.

What can be said? It wasn't Lauren Faust's vision.. per say. We now know that if she had her way the series finale would have had Twilight becoming Celestia's successor, whether that means alicorn transformation we can't be sure, but I'm betting thats what would have happened.
This was clearly added in at the last second, and I think the writers did the best with what they were dealt. They promise Twilight will stay with her friends, and they promise not much will change, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Celestia singing was by far the most memorable moment for me... sad and happy at the same time. For now, we must wait to see what season 4 and that TV movie have to offer. I'm choosing to remain happy about it, I haven't gotten tired of this fandom yet and the same can be said for the show. I think there is still good here, and hey as long as there is more Luna in Season 4 I'm a happy Brony.
Sabre, you are a DT fan. That proves to me that whatever your judgment might be on the finale I'm sure it will be well thought out.

You or anybody who's interested. Sorry for having to make you travel to a whole new webpage, but the context works better this way.
I liked it, and hated it. I actually didn't like it more than I liked it. I like the fact that Twilights become an Alicorn. Basically, a princess. But I didn't really want her to become a princess at season 3. To me, that just seems a bit too early. Now, if they Hasbro would've confirmed season 4 before making her a princess, I would've been happier. That way we can see her turning into a princess later rather than sooner. Hasbro rushed season 3 for whatever reason and that wasn't really good. But, at least they came out with some good made up episodes instead of going to the bronies for episodes seeing what they're clamoring for. I was actually hoping Twilight would become a princess at maybe season 8. That seems a bit too much to ask due to how difficult it is to come up with episodes for MLP with it being family friendly and all, but I could see it getting to season 8. I just hope in season 4, Twilight steps down briefly so she can spend a bit more time with her friends before stepping back up to royalty. God forbid if it's just her and the three other princesses.
Well, all we can do now is wait and hope for the best. There's no telling what season 4 will be about, but we better hope it's good. Cause that's about all we can do for now. Is wait.
I don't know. I really don't.
One one hand, the episode was good. Liked songs, animation, plot, etc. Also, as someone mentioned above, it's a good way to complete her character arc. My own opinion is that should this be done well, it could be a really awesome next few seasons(and there WILL be more seasons, that much is confirmed).
However.
If they fuck up, it will ruin the show for me.
I guess all there is to do is watch and wait.
