Hmm... been a while...
Before you decide to declare FoaSE dead (You know who you are), allow me to explain my lack of... well, anything recently. I've been busy with school, and other things I'm not going to be telling you anytime soon, so writing's been punted to the backburner for now.
However, that doesn't mean I haven't written at all. Chapter 3 is currently at 4582 words, and it's being posted, partially, on the Spacebattles Forum.
So there.
Totally understandable, it's very easy to get bogged down with school work /your job / romantic interest or life in general. I knew Friends of a Solar Empire couldn't be dead. Well ok I admit it had crossed my mind, until I saw it had been edited just a week ago.
But I really didn't think it was dead, too much love, devotion and detail had been put into it for me to believe it was simply dead. Glad to know how far you've gotten with chapter 3. The fact you're writing it around your busy school life is commendable, I tip my hat to you good sir
. I look forward to more updates 
with the patience of a saint ^^
This story has a good hook, plentiful opportunities, and introduced me to a game that looks awesome. I assure you, I can wait for it to come be updated. 'Tis the least I could do.
I know the feeling, my own story is on hiatus right now due to my own life issues. Really I'm just glad to hear something thoguh I was going to wait no matter what anyways.
Don't mind the internet, they're just whining! Artistry takes time, and is worth the wait. Sure, some times you think for yourself "Why won't this thing bloody update?", but at the same time you know that the longer the wait the sweeter the reward! Take care of whatever is haunting you first, be it school or otherwise, and write when the muses strikes you. We really can't ask for more than that.
