FML

How come whenever I try writing any story of some kind i never end up finishing it? Or in some cases start it. I always find motivation to start something but I never get to finish it because the motivation runs out... F M L!!!! I seriously SUCK at writing stories. End. Of. Story.

Hey, I consider myself a pretty good writer in most ways, but I have the same problem.

Perhaps look up a technique called "don't break the chain" where you try to string together check marked page a day calander pages for each day you write for at least 30 minutes (even if it is just staring at a blank screen)?

In any case the secret for most people is to do a little each day and not worry about quality until revising. Writing drek isn't something that really good writers don't do. PUBLISHING drek is. Rewrite what is worth it. Delete what you need to.
