My Decision to Revamp SaS

Hello there, to you few who actually read and/or care about my one and only fanfic, Stone and Secrets.

If you've been keeping up with it, you'll notice that it's just about to get to the juicy parts.
Now, I wanted to update again sooner, and start pitching out the climax at a chapter every two days.
However, between the opinions of a couple of prereaders and my beta, it was brought to my attention how rushed the whole thing ended up coming out.
Not just the most recent stuff, either; the entire fic.
I had a bit of a crisis of faith (for lack of a better term) about it, which was since resolved, but I still believe it is, in fact, a bit rushed.

I feel like the ideas I had and still have for this have more potential and deserve the best writing I can do. As such, I'm now working with Daetrin, authour of Apotheosis and very helpful editor, to iron out the problems.

It will probably take a few days at least, and I'll probably put up the edited stuff all at once so there's no confusion.

But it will be much better. Trust me.

When I do get back to writing and posting new chapters, probably the first ones I put up will be consolidating the current ones, and will be more character driven. But the climax isn't too far off for those who want to see whether you've guesses my various reveals correctly.

I'll be setting it to Hiatus now, and it will probably stay there for a week or two. There are major edits to be done and I have midterms coming up next week, so.. yeah.
So far there are some significant passages that need to be revised, and some things that I feel demand whole new chapters.
On the bright side, the story will have many things it was missing when it comes back.
I'll keep you posted, since I still cling to the vague hope that somepony reads this.
