Well that was a little slice of Hell · 3:09pm Nov 9th, 2011
I'll spare the gory details and just let you all know my radio silence as of late has largely been due to a family emergency that is now over. I hope. Parts of me are still on high alert right now, but things are starting to get back to normal. Still, that was a week out of my life that felt more like a year.
I've been going through my story ideas and scrapping some that just aren't turning out how I wanted them to. They sounded cool at the time, but as I started writing them I just wasn't feeling it. I do have some new story ideas, however, that I'm much more interested in writing and feel a lot better so far in the outlining phase. Hopefully I'll have something new to share in a couple weeks here.
Finally, I still can't believe A Simpler Time has crossed the 100 ratings threshold. It's almost enough to make me begin to think you people really do like my stories and writing. In all seriousness, I'm grateful and thankful for all the support and I'm thrilled so many people have found some amount of entertainment in my work. I will strive to deliver more fun pony stories here in the near future. Provided my life doesn't explode on me again. Twice.
