Wing boner · 3:39am Feb 2nd, 2013
My wings popped up in my excitement. My story is going to be as G as possible, so I'd like to keep the "wing boner" concept without the actual phrase.
For instance, Roid Rage/ Snowflake has always been described as merely "A very enthusiastic pony" in the scripts. It was an artist's perogative that made him muscle bound with tiny wings. YEAH!
Therefore, should a name ever be accepted as cannon for that character, Hasbro's going to choose "Snowflake" over "Roid Rage" despite how hilarious and appropriate it might be.
By keeping the wing boner, but not the actual phrase, I hope to keep the appealing universality of the show.
Thoughts?
I always favored "Horsepower" for Snowflake's name once I heard it.
The only alternative to wingboner I can come up with off the top of my head is "wing twitch" or "High Winged"
Maybe it would help get more exposure to ask on one of the group forums like "transformations" or "Humans in Equestia"
*Edit*! Just had an idea; "Love Wings" "... his buddies chuckled and nudged each other "He's got Love Wings. She must really be something..."
