Twilacorn (Or, How I learned to STFU and deal with it.) · 1:56am Jan 31st, 2013
So, since it's pretty popular right now to talk about our worst nightmare and/or wet dream, I thought I should give my opinion on Hasbro's decision to turn Twilight into an Alicorn. At first, I was seething mad. From every point of view, this was going to ruin the fandom. Whether it was the fanfiction, or the art, or whatever, nothing was going to be the same anymore. And that's when I relized what I really didn't like: change. I was more afraid of the change than what the change was really about. Honestly, all that is really happening is our favorite unicorn getting some wings. It's not really that bad. Sure, she'll have some new duties. Sure, the format will change. But all of that had to happen in the first place, becuase first and foremost, I care about new pony episodes, and those would get pretty damn boring if nothing ever changed. In all fairness, I would have thought beforehand that Rainbow Dash joining the wonderbolt would change things up more than I was comfortable with, and now we see that, more or less, nothing really changed. And that was really a bigger deal than Twilight's "accenssion", when you consider everything involved. So, while I know that nopony reads this, I hope that these thoughts help, because they didn't really help me. No matter what happens, I'm ignoring the finale in my Fanfics. Go $%^& yourself Hasbro!!!!!!
Sincerely,
Valor H. Lord
