Losing faith in the fan community... · 5:13am Jan 30th, 2013
It might just be me, but am I the only person that looked at the Alicorn-Twi pic and thought, 'Meh, I'll just ignore it.'?
Seriously, people are well overreacting to it already. Twi gets Alicorned, whoop-di-do! It's happend like a thousand times already in fan fics! Heres your solution for those ranting about fics. At the top of the story in an authors note or what not;
This story ignores canon depicted in *insert episode title here*."
There, happy? Sorry for the mini rant, but I've had six blogs dealing with the same thing.
Leave it to a Grey Knight to ignore the annoying points and get streight to the main point. Unlike a certaint incompotence. *cough, cough* Failbadden The Armless *cough, cough*

Indeed, I just read the Ep synopsis from he Hub, and from what I can gather, Ali-Twi is not even permanent, looks like it's a one episode thing.

I want to see thatat happen, the scariest 'Nid yet, FlutterFex.
I personally think it pretty sweet. Writers haven't done the show wrong yet, so why would this be any different. I admit I hoping it is not a one episode thing. They have foreshadowed it all season so I don't think it'll be just for one episode.
But it does go to show tar writers should not cater to the demands of such whimsical fans.

Those who are not pleased are definitely going to be the most vocal. After thinking on it, I've decided to reserve my opinion/freakout until after I've seen the full episode.
Don't lose faith, just because of the vocal minority.
