This next chapter of Sidestep, chapter 4, is already longer than any of my other stories lengthwise, but I've only covered two characters in it so far. (For reference, I type it up in Microsoft word first then edit it on FimFiction, and I've reached page 10 on Word) Now I don't know what I should do: either upload it in pieces covering each individual character, or to hold off uploading it until I've covered all six in both groups like I've been doing. I know I've only got a few of you guys tracking the story, but your input is valued. Which brings me to saying that I know I'm not a perfect writer--but not receiving any constructive criticism on how to change that for the better doesn't help any. Opinions and suggestions are always appreciated, even if your opinion is "Dwohoho I can't read this stuff 'cuz you made a reference to something."
Meh, doesn't really matter to me which way you go with it...just so long as it comes out. I mean, I don't really care about how long it is as long as I get to read it. I'd say focus on each individual character in their own chapter; makes it easier on yourself as well as allowing you to possibly delve deeper into what makes them them, their personalities and memories and stuff. On the other hoof, longer chapters could allow you to connect key points in the plot together between each of the characters. But in the end, its all up to you to pull the trigger, so to speak.
One good thing about readers like me is that we can wait for something. While it may not be an Element, patience is still a virtue.
