No matter what I do, my family doesn't appreciate me. I have to drop whatever I am doing, just to bring a sandwich. A fucking sandwich to someone who can't even get off their ass and do it themselves. I'm expected to do everything for everyone and when it comes time for me to have something done... "Sorry not enough money," "Don't have the time," "It's not important," "Too busy," "Use your own money!" And speaking of money, they like to pay me back little by little and the amount they owe me now is a little over 200. But when I have to pay something back, I'm expected to pay it all at once, no exceptions and if I don't... they increase the amount. My dumbass sister owes over 900 and they're not putting pressure on her to pay back. It's been over... 4 years since that started and not one cent has been paid back and she has the gall to not only steal money from us for food, but also steal my medication. It's fucking bullshit! My brother... he is much worse. He steals, lies about it, gets in trouble at school and gets away with it 87% of the time. He likes to steal my anime and games and when I confront him... I get yelled at for and here's what my mom actually said, "You should stop tempting him with all your nice stuff." I'm not kidding, that's what she actually said to my face and my brother walks away with a smug look, feeling proud of what he did. Moving out is good, but it's taking time and I can't wait any longer. All this negativity is affecting my writing as in... I can't! I have some stuff done but coming up with more is becoming a challenge all it's own. If you ever read the comic "Dilbert"... that's my life right there.

I don't get it... it's like I'm not part of the family. For one whole year during high school... nobody cared about me. Got sick during vacation for 2 weeks... no one took care of me. No hospital trip, no doctor's trip, no proper meds. Hell they went out to the store one time to get things for the house and everyone got something they wanted and you know what I got... a bag. A fucking plastic bag from the store with the receipt. Nobody asked if I wanted anything and I was told to accept it with a smile. I have certain problems and that made it worse. I have to put on a fake smile all the time. I don't really remember the last time I was happy. MLP helps but if the rest of my family knew (my mom know) I would be kicked out of the house and no family where I live will take me in.

Well, you can try doing what I did. Quick back history for me is my parents got divorced, mom wanted my younger sister, dad wanted my older brother. Neither wanting me, they dumped my in a teen heatlh place for 5 months where I got some great advice from one to the doctors(as they all knew there wasn't a thing wrong with me after the first three weeks.)
They told me that when I get out, make some good friends, then make good friends with my friends' families.
Taking said advice, I wound up essentially being raised by the families of my six friends, who I consider more so family than my own flesh and blood. Heres where it gets complicated though. I officially left my moms house at 17 years 11 months and 20 days old so I was able to get a job and had friends to stay with. Once I did that I paid boarding to my friend(when they would accept it, some were a bit generous) and floated between friends until I started up college.
Depending on your age could affect how things might work for you though.
Finally I have this to say. Family are the ones who've always got your back, never think twice about helping you out of a jam, and love you for who you are, not for who they want you to be.
You choose your family, your family doesn't choose you.
