that has to suck so hard. Luckily i've been fortunate enough (or unfortunate enough?) to have had plenty of computer crashes throughout my life. I always save the file before I even have anything written, and hit Ctrl + S every 5 to 10 minutes just in case. IT HAS saved my ass a few times before.
713223 I know what you mean; my desktop PC used to bluescreen me all the damn time while I was building it into a gaming rig, and I got very used to saving whatever I was working on every 10-20 minutes. Apparently, though, that skill didn't pass over to this laptop; either that, or it lulled me into a false sense of security with its (until now) impeccable reliability.
