Taking a bit of a break

I've been having a bit of writer's block for the past couple weeks. I pull up an unfinished story, stare at it, write a line or two but just can't get into the swing of it.

My wife left to go to the gym which left me all alone this morning and I felt this was the perfect time to work on the chapter talking about Sterling and Glenda but nothing was coming to me. I just sat in front of the PC and stared at the page. I was still staring when she came back and hadn't written one damn thing. After lunch I come back and still nothing. I prep tonight's dinner and still nothing and finally now, sitting in front of the PC and I'm just done.

So unfortunately the next chapter will be delayed until I get those creative juices working again. I'm sure my wife will love it, suddenly I'll be giving her more attention and have more time to work in the kitchen. That's it for tonight. Hopefully I'll get over this writer's block soon and get back to finishing this story.
