Twelve years since FiM premiered for the first time and the fandom is still alive. That's just awesome.

If my memory is serving me correctly, today marks my first anniversary of watching MLP: FiM!!!! It was like about a month before being shipped out to Fort Leonard Wood for Basic and AIT (or OSUT in my case). It felt like that happened yesterday.... lol.
Was it a little awkward to name your M4 Carbine after a certain pink, random-talking, hyperactive pony during OSUT...?
That's what I did!!!! And I think I made a new brony out of one of my battle buddies during my time there. *squee*
