So, CUiE is chugging along at chapter 6, and I'm still surprised it's doing as well as it is. Being a crossover and all. Anyways, what's on my mind today is my other potential stories, cuz I don't know about you, but when I work on one thing my mind tends to drift to another. Don't you just hate that? But like I was saying, or typing, whatever. Other stories. I have at least 3, possibly 4, I could do after CUiE is wrapped up. Those being:
The Golden Apple.
An Eris-centric/almost harem-y comedy fic. I'm a huge Erisfan so this is something I'm really gonna enjoy doing. Some have said it reminded them of Tenchi Muyo. ...And they'd be right in spotting that.
Stormfront.
An...experimental fic, I suppose. A drama; heavy drama, fic involving Rainbow Dash's and Anonymous' toxic relationship. I don't typically do super-heavy dark material like this, same with TGA up there being comedy. I consider myself a more action-y writer. But it's good to experiment and work outside yer comfort zone every know and again.
Tall, Thin, and Faceless.
Yes, it's Slender Man. No, I haven't played Slender, because the model for Slender Man robs the game of anything unnerving. Plus, that game brought in... undesirables into the Mythos. But getting off point, it's a Slender Man story I've been wanting to do.
And then we come to the fourth story... This I consider my "biggun". Like...80 chapters or some shit.
Beyond the Horizon.
AKA ADVENTURE ANON. No, not Adventure Time, adore the show, but no. This is a story of Anonymous and Scootaloo adventuring across not just Equestria, but the world. This story was inspired by two things: Skies of Arcadia AKA one of the best RPG's ever made (and Anon in this story might as well be called Vyse...), and fanon map; a map I'll be using for locations in the fic, I'm sure some of you have seen called The Known World.
And that's essentially it, for now. I do have some other nebulous ideas. Like Super Robot Wars P; I shouldn't need to go into further detail for those familiar with the name SRW. And The Harmony League of Equestria; a mash-up amalgamverse of Marvel and DC. And ponies. You know, Mint Lantern, PowerJack, Doctor Sparkle, Spider-Colt, that kinda thing. This idea is meant to be somewhat more of a collaboration between follow AiE writers, much like an actual comic company and what-not. Plus, the roster of characters in HLE? Over 65 last time I counted. That's a lot for just me.
Time to bring this blog to a close. I just felt...chatty today, for whatever reason. So until next time, and I hope you all look forward to those future stories.
