    Nerd Joke Time!

Okay, think back to your chemistry classes, if Applebloom, Babs, and Sweetie Belle are Fluorine, and Scootaloo's Chlorine, what does that make them together?

    Here's what I think

Okay, this isn't going to be a common thing, but I'm going to be doing a review of this weeks episode. And when I say "review," I mean rant. Here goes nothing!

A Pet Peeve of Mine · 4:48am Jan 3rd, 2013

Seeing as no pony responded to my last blog post :(, I'm going to try and write one that may be a little more relate-able.
I watch a lot of TV and I just always hate it when a show makes time-dependent situations a constant. Well, What the f*ck does that mean? Well, what that means, good sir/ma'am, is that I hate it when a show uses a situation or a character aspect that will either change or appear/disappear over time. Because most of the time, they keep it for a long time and it makes it hard to understand the show's concept of time passage.
An example of this is Maggie, from The Simpsons. Maggie has been a baby for TWENTY F*CKING YEARS! And I know that they can't change that, because it would sacrifice the integrity of the characters. It just bothers me that the world around the Simpson family is constantly developing, yet the characters are static.
Now, why would I bring this up here? Well, a few days ago, I watched the episode Bad Seed on The Hub. I saw the part when the grease, or oil, or whatever it was that Scootaloo was working with, formed a wrench-shaped cutie mark on her flank. I stopped to think about this for a second... What would happen if one of them actually got their cutie marks? Though, that would make quite an interesting episode (seeing as the girls would have to decide whether to keep that member in the CMC, and what said member would do about Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon *cough* stab the bitches *cough*). It still wouldn't be possible, because what then would become of the CMC, it just wouldn't be the same without the same three (I guess six, now) members.
Another one of these, all though not quite as prevalent, is the concept of relationships with the "Mane" 6. As much as we all want Fluttershy and Big Mac to... well... "play in the Apple Orchard," we all know that it will never happen in the show. Write as many demented fics as you want, it still won't change that fact. Think about it, it may make an interesting single episode, but what about the long term affects? I'm sure that you've all had a friend, or been a friend, who got a boy/girlfriend and slowly drifted away from the circle. I know it's happened to me. But what sort of effect will that have on the SIX MOST IMPORTANT PONIES IN ALL OF EQUESTRIA? We saw what Discord's black magic did to them, what would the evil sorcery of love cause them to do? Ponder on that next time you feel like shipping...
Well, that's all I want to rant about... for now. Until next time,
Kaiser P, out!
