So apparently Derpy Hooves has been decanonised...

...oh well, life goes on, I suppose. I don't really mind. My current story, The Hitchhiker's Guide to Equestria, is about as non-canon as you can get. People that read it should not expect it to stick to canon at all. It's more like a version of my own headcanon, on crack, in the Hitchhiker's Guide universe. In fact, its timeline keeps sliding with each new episode. Hence why some of the chapters mention incidents that happened in episodes aired AFTER the story was first published. I'm not complaining at all. Screw that, I'm not even sad at all that Derpy has been altered. Hell, my characterisation of her differed from the one in the show ANYWAY, and the new voice matches how I imagined her to sound far more than Tabitha St. Germain's, as talented as the lovely lady is.

I just wanted to let the people tracking my story and watching me know my feelings about this whole Derpy Hooves fiasco, and assure them that nothing is going to change. I'm not changing my story now, not when we're almost eight chapters in! In the words of The Bangles, "We can't rewind/We've gone too far."

Oh, and, as a final word, guys, please don't rage about it and write letters to Hasbro about it. It's a cartoon. It's not like she's a political prisoner who's been executed unjustly or anything. It's just make-believe. There's far worse things to get your knickers in a twist over, and Derpy Hooves is not one of them.

P.S. Expect Chapter VIII soon. I'm back at school now, and juggling homework and writing. Oh, also, I'm currently addicted to Daft Punk and getting very distracted because I can't stop listening to them. So it should come any time between now and December 2015.
