So apparently I got hacked · 6:49am Dec 28th, 2012
After being away from Gw2 for about 2 months, I decided to go back and have some fun.
But then I found the joy of being hacked, but luckily I have a physical copy of the game so I was able to use the serial code to get it back immediately.
when I logged onto my account, and locked it down to where it can't be hacked again, my main was untouched-
But another account I had for fun was max level and LOADED with items and gold, a win for me I guess.
He spent a ton of time and really lost it all, but I guess that's what he gets for hacking right?
I certainly don't feel bad towards him, really if I knew the hacker I would punch his face in.
I've been hacked a few times before, and it pisses me off to no end- I always end up getting my account back because I always make sure I have a line on it to pull it out of wherever it was.
But then here's the kicker to my anger
I told my friend that I got my account back and now it was amped up and the dude probably spent over 100+ hours on it.
and what does he do?
He tries to fucking defend him.
Defend the hacker.
Yeah, that really got me ticked that a really good friend of mine was defending my hacker.
'I don't know, just the image of some guy waking up with a smile on his face ready to play GW2, only to find his accound was taken back, he can't do anything about it either, because it wasn't his to begin with, and so he gets really sad.'
Fuck that guy, if he wanted my account he could have just refunded me for it and I wouldn't have taken it back.
I paid for this shit, and I want my shit.
He can try all he wants to, to get my account back in his possession-
won't work, I got the key to this lock.

No worries, in some cases, it can be ironic with this happens with Big Name Fans (or BNG, an example like HotDiggyDemon) of a certain community and when they do something bad, people will defend the shit out of them.

Nvm me, just a making a rant about people defending abusers. Anyhow it sucks if you get hacked thats for damn sure, had some problems when I get back to WoW from my hiatus break. Lucky it doesn't take awhile in my end to get the remedy to the problem
