The Vanishing of Twilight Sparkle - Opinion Wanted · 1:10pm Dec 27th, 2012
My first story, The Vanishing of Twilight Sparkle, hasn't been updated in a while, and if I'm going to be totally honest, I really don't know what to do with it.
So, I've come up with an idea.
Scrapping it and restarting from scratch.
However, instead of making it a regular story, I was thinking of making it an ARG (Alternate Reality Game).
The premise would be Twilight, after a spell has gone wrong, is now lost in this world. A number of sightings and such, rumours posted on the internet, and maybe a shadowy organisation behind it all.
Reader would have to solve a number of clues, follow rumours, 'hack' Facebook accounts as well as draw upon a number of sources of knowledge in order to piece together where she is. The 'game' would require participants to work together, since not everyone will have the same clues. Clues wouldn't be obvious straight away, and would require quite a bit of thinking (for example, a picture with the caption "The Clue Is In The Picture" might mean that an actual file is embedded in the picture).
Obviously, this wouldn't be started until I completed it, to make sure I could run it smoothly.
Opinions?
Sounds great I never refuse a challenge
