Remember all that stuff I said about switching to lighter material? Yeah... just pretend like that hasn't happened for now. This idea was too good to stick on a shelf.
I am in the middle of writing a new fic centered on Rainbow Dash and based off of a short story written many, many years ago by H.P. Lovecraft. No, there won't be any tentacle monsters or aliens or other spooky, creepy crawly things. Expect love and loss. And before you ask, no it has nothing to do with Solis Furta.
Will try and have something up soon, not sure if this will turn out as a one shot or in three parts.
To all seventeen or so of my watchers, thanks for giving me the time of day.
Bummer, and I was so looking forward to the lighter stuff as well.

To be fair, there will be several sweet moments in this story but the overall thrust will be one of sadness, despair and abstract mortification when the realization hits.
